CRB Design, LLC is headed up by Casey Butler and has a strong emphasis on custom residential architecture.

Casey grew up in a family that has a long history in the construction industry, which formed his foundation for a career in the field of architecture. His architectural journey started in the early 2000’s while helping his dad work on log homes in the Northeast. He subsequently went on to attend Montana State University in Bozeman, MT where he attained a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design Degree. To follow his passion, Casey received his Master of Architecture one year later while earning the Alpha Rho Chi medal from the faculty of the MSU’s School of Architecture.

Since graduating, Casey has spent time in Western Montana working on, designing, and managing medium to large custom residential projects.  The projects were mainly focused on the architectural imagery of the American West as far as development, collaboration, integration of natural wood elements, and constructability. After a few years of working in Western Montana, Casey received his license to practice architecture in the state of Montana.

In addition to his custom residential architectural design work, Casey has also spent time doing work for the local Habitat for Humanity Chapter, for the production crew of the TV show, Yellowstone (which is being featured on the Paramount Network), design of features for local charities, and several commercial multi-unit commercial projects.

In 2020, his experience and knowledge led Casey to start CRB Design, LLC. Where he is focused on design that seamlessly integrates into the surrounding landscape and being able to collaborate on a more personal level with his current and future clients.
